Welcome . . .
Come on in for a moment, sit down, have a coffee, maybe some pie, and "chat" with a friend. Take a much-needed break before you move on to life's demands. Perhaps you'll see something here to spark a conversation later or to think about tonight as you close your eyes for a rest.
Other Card Stock Model Creations I've made
I love creating scale model buildings out of card stock paper. The scale I work at is 1"=4', which can work okay with 28mm figures (a 6' figure would be 1 1/2" in my scale, or 33mm).
Below is a gallery of my creations. Some are original designs by me while others are ones are created from photos I found on the web or models at 3D Warehouse. The Rovers Inn & re-titled Windmere Village Cafe & Gift Shop are from 3D Warehouse, having been originally created by Grant A.

I made the models below in early 2018. All are original design by me, except for the mansion. I built the basic design in Sketchup and added final textures for print in Affinity Design and Affinity Photo. In September 2018 the failure of my hard drive meant the loss of all the files for both the older models above and the newer ones below. It has made me realize the importance of keeping backup copies.
Moving On To Other Things:
In the past...
A Pleasant Summer Day...
Strawbridge Lake, one of the beautiful parks in my area. The lake is large, although this particular photo has more ground & trees than water. The trees were so cool-looking I just had to post them.

A Light Winter Snow...
This view is from a door at my house. A light snow had fallen earlier on this January day and I thought
the elegance of the snow decorating the nearby trees was too much to leave without preserving. At this point the temperatures were already rising and the streets looked more like an every-day rainfall had occurred, so I quickly snapped a few outdoor photos.
Winter is my favorite season.

The Brady Bunch House
The photograph on the left is a fairly current picture of the actual house used in the exterior shots on the famous Brady Bunch TV series. It's a bit different these days, with an iron fence and larger plant life. I included floor plans of the house below which have been updated to reflect the changes they made over the years of the series.
Just to warn you, though, the layout of the house according to the program does differ from the outward view. This is normal for a TV series because the interiors were usually shot on studio lots, some distance from the exteriors. And producers rarely care to match things up. I guess they figure nobody's going to notice. Either way, I'm sure you'll find it interesting to see even an approximated layout of the Brady's home.

Inside the Brady Bunch house...
Here's the floor plans to the famous Brady Bunch house on the TV series. These particular plans are available at a couple different sites on the web. I'd hoped to be able to come up with better copies, but it seems these are the best ones around. My thanks to whomever originally created these. It's nice to get a good look at the layout of both floors according to the interior scenes from the show, but it's too bad they don't line up so well to the outdoor shots. Do a comparison and you'll see what I mean.
