What can I say? Because of Covid 19, 2020 has been a very bad year for everyone. My friend & I are fearful of spending too much time outside around others, so she's going stir crazy. Sure would be nice if a working & safe vaccine would be developed. Besides that, what the world needs now is love, sweet love.
It's been a very long time since I last blogged, but I still don't feel like blogging. So there.
Stopped in to add a "photo" of a non-existing Pink Floyd album. I created it in a photo program with intentions of completing a full-blown version (with record) for my nephew. He's a real fan of P.Floyd.
The older I get, the quicker the days pass. 2015 has arrived before I barely got to enjoy 2014. With winter abounding, it's easy to sit back in a warm, comfy chair, peering out the window at the fluttering of life going on. Seems as though the "golden years" of my time is meant more for reflection than anything else: Missing the days of my youth and those years of my life when I thought I had forever to live. Now my age means only learning to accept the inevitable. But I'm still here, still kicking... and there's always hope. Happy New Year, my friend.
It's 2014. Wow. Anyway, having made a move into a different house recently, I am looking forward to the new things I can do within the passing of the upcoming months. A beautiful storm hit the area and now I even get to enjoy that one thing I love most about winter: Snow!
The winter of 2013 has arrived, and already three snow storms have moved through the area. Nothin' like snow! It's been a year since I last posted, but it feels like only a couple months. Christmas is within reach and will be gone before we can finish a cup of hot chocolate. One of the enjoyable things about this time of year is watching the Christmas movies on television... and there are plenty to see! Oddly, though, my most fav is never on TV these days: "All Mine To Give" is one of those films that tugs at your heart and manages to find a place in your memories for the rest of your days. It's not exactly a Christmas story, but the time of the season makes a dramatic entrance at the end of the film. If you ever have the chance to catch it, be sure to watch it with someone you love.
Till next time... Have a great Christmas and New Year The winter season is around us. As I write this, Christmas is just a few days away (or months if you're a child). Without a doubt, I'm in the "Winter of my life." The years are claiming their toll and I feel little hope for a long life. But I will enjoy what is left as best as I can. Christmas is usually a happy time, but the joy of the season slips away the farther you get from having your own children around for the big day. It feels less & less like Christmas with each passing one, and I wonder more & more just what makes life worthwhile.
But, all that aside, I wish you and your family & friends a beautiful, warm and Merry Christmas! The current season is quickly reaching its end. This summer has certainly been a hot one, and it makes me look forward to the coming Fall and Winter. 2012 has been an interesting year so far... I wonder what lies ahead in the remaining months.
Another Spring is here, and many things are already in bloom. The warm temperatures in the northeast corridor of the United States have really set the signs of summer in place before their time. Hopefully, the early warm weather is not a sign of a longer and hotter summer than usual. As for myself, I am a winter person, and from this point on I'll be impatiently waiting for the cool & colder degrees that are still so many months away.
The months pass so quickly and already it feels like Spring is within reach. The Winter season has been a warm one for the most part, and very little snow to speak of in my area. I love snow and winter temps, and I'm sorely missing the kind of weather I find most joyful. Maybe if I pray real hard a small snow storm may still yet find its way here.
